Computer Science plays an increasingly important role in every traditional learning discipline. As computers continue to influence every aspect of our lives, from entertainment through to work and learning, it is important that all teachers and students understand how simple CS concepts can provide us with new insights about what we know and understand.
The Iterate workshop has been designed around three distinct streams to give teachers and pre-service teachers targeted, simple and practical lesson resources and ideas, and to introduce them to programs that can help engage students in meaningful ways with IT in the classroom across multiple disciplines.
Date: Friday 1st June, 2012 Time: 8.30am (Registration) - 5.00pm Cost: $100 Location: INSPIRE, Building 25 Pantowara Road, University of Canberra, Bruce ACT
