Standing at just under 15 metres, the INSPIRE Centre provides a 'hard-urban edge' presence to the University of Canberra campus and features recycled ironbark timber cladding both internally and externally to the TEAL room, and exposed pre-cast concrete walls giving that industrial feel to the ingenious spaces.
With an elegant but industrial interior, the Centre is designed to showcase the facility at work revealing three clear functional spaces: the TEAL Room, Studio 1&2 and seminar spaces, and a large Flexi Space between the two. INSPIRE is a space for design, action, reflection and learning.
Some of the building's key features include writeable IdeaPaint walls, a feature-rich digital AV system, an acoustically treated podcast studio, “Toguna” collaboration booths, “Skype” booths, a 12-panel media wall and free Wi-Fi throughout the building.
